| Goodbye XangaTo anyone who actually reads this:
This will probably be my last entry in Xanga. I've recently made a whole lot of new websites/journals/blogs, because I have some sort of internet ADD. Haven't written here in awhile/changed anything, gotten bored with Xanga. Things are pretty much dead here and I like the features on the other sites, so my time here is done.
You can continuing reading about the (not so) exciting adventures of Jennifer Vo at :
(click for links) My Website My Website Blog Livejournal Wordpress MySpace (not blogging here, but the page is up anyway)
I'll probably find a way to consolidate all the blogs, so all the entries are the same.
Goodbye Xanga. I've had fun.

| Fucker BROKE INTO my house!!Last Sunday night/early Monday
morning, someone broke into my house while my parents were sleeping
upstairs! Fortunately, they only stole my mom's car and left. My dad's
car and mine were parked outside, and they were unlocked, so he
ransacked through them trying to look for keys. He found the garage
door remote in my dad's truck and got inside the house. The door to the
garage is usually locked, but guess it wasn't that night. So he found
all the car keys on the kitchen table, took em, and left with my mom's
Lexus. Thank God that's all he was after, and my parents are safe.
Apparently, he had gone to other houses breaking into their cars and
tried to steal them, but couldn't find the keys. Then he went to ours,
got inside, got a car and left, so he didn't bother with our 2
neighbors' houses. My parents woke up in the morning and found all the
lights on downstairs and the garage door open. Police found nothing
yet.
i'm thoroughly freaked out now. anyone
who's ever been to my house knows that its all secluded in the woods,
and all dark at night. I've never been scared being alone here before,
and i loved the privacy of it, but now i'm creeped out. I don't feel
safe in my own home as I once did. The guy still has the keys to both
my car and my dad's truck, as well as the garage door opener! He came
sometime in the middle of the night, and I'm usually up really late at
that time, in the living room, right where the garage opens to. If I
had gone home last weekend, i totally would have been right there when
he came in. My dad's changed all the locks, unplugged the garage
opener, etc. Two weeks ago, I was just scared of the fact that we had
a mouse loose in the house! I remember a long time ago, my friend told
me she'd be creeped out staying in my house alone at night, cuz it was
like the house at the beginning of Scream, where Drew Barrymore is
killed and no one hears her b/c she's all secluded. Then, I was like,
'What? I feel TOTALLY safe here.' Hate this. I've lived here my entire
life, and always felt completely safe and had no problem being alone
here at night. That's shot to hell.
My parents only told me this today,
when I was coming home from school for the weekend. They always do
that. A couple years ago, my dad was in the hospital for a few days,
and they didn't tell me so until they both picked me up that weekend.
And I talk to my mom every day!
Tonight, i've been on the verge of
tears. Either that or hysterical laughter. And I could bite someone's
head off right now. There was this lady at the restaurant where we had
dinner tonight, complaining with the waitress, and i wanted to yell at
her or smack her or something. Just some stranger.
My family has been pretty lucky
though, safetywise. A few years ago, my house was struck by lightening,
but everyone was out for a special dinner that night. If we were home,
we would've been fried watching tv, sitting in front of the computer,
whatever. All of our electronics were destroyed, there was a hole in
our roof, wires out the walls. We came home right after it happened,
and we had even seen this huge flash of lightening while we were
driving.
So, Merry Christmas, huh? Christmas
wish: That the police catch this bastard, and that all of my family is
safe and healthy together.
Now, with all this in my head, back to
stressing over finishing an impossible finance project tomorrow, and
studying for finals. | | |
